Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Da Nang Haven collects, why, and your rights. The data controller is Da Nang Haven. Privacy questions: hello@dananghaven.com.

What we collect

• When you send an enquiry: your name, email and/or WhatsApp number, move-in date, lease length, budget, message and the home you asked about.
• When you email hello@dananghaven.com: your address, display name, the message and any attachments.
• When you tap WhatsApp, Zalo or Telegram: we only record the channel, the home and the page you were on, not your phone number. The conversation then happens in that app.
• Where you came from: campaign tags (utm) in the link you followed, so we know which ads work.
• Technical data: your IP address and browser details are processed by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores one functional cookie with your currency choice (VND/USD). Saved homes (♥) stay in your own browser.

Why we use it

• To answer you, suggest suitable homes, arrange viewings and help with the lease.
• For aggregate statistics that improve the service (for example enquiries per channel).
• To meet legal obligations, such as accounting for signed leases.

Legal basis: your consent when you send an enquiry or email (Vietnam's Decree 13/2023/ND-CP and, where it applies, the GDPR), steps taken at your request before a contract, and legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who sees it

• The advisor handling your enquiry, and our administrators.
• Landlords: only when you agree to a viewing or a lease, and only what is needed (your name, viewing time, move-in date).
• Service providers: Cloudflare (website hosting, database, sending and receiving email). Data may be processed on servers outside Vietnam under the provider's contractual safeguards.
• Internal Telegram alerts contain only your name and the listing code, never your email or phone number.

We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and email threads are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted or anonymised. Records of signed leases are kept as long as accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, object to processing and complain to a supervisory authority. Write to hello@dananghaven.com; we reply within 30 days.

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Only authorised staff can sign in to our admin system. Landlord contact details are stored separately and every access is logged.

Children

The service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect children's data.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. Significant changes are announced on the site.
